joe strummer belonged to a group before he became famous that would take over abandoned properties move in fix them up add utilities and the authorities wouldnt do anything to stop them - there is a group doing that in albany too

oh yes, my neighbor just told me our catholic church has mats in the basement for people to get out of the cold and i guess people can sleep there
